I grew up on a small hill farm in Hebden Bridge, and spent my childhood surrounded by animals. I then worked for twenty years in the equine industry in a variety of roles, firstly gaining my BHSAI and working as a riding instructor, before becoming involved with the rehabilitation of ex-racehorses, and also working on several private yards.

Throughout the time I spent working with horses I have always enjoyed the veterinary side of things, and so when the opportunity arose, I decided to make the move, and to begin working in the veterinary industry, I hope to become a vet nurse.

I have two dogs, Lockie and Bodey, they are Springer x Collies, and are full of energy, needless to say I spend a lot of time out with them on long walks. We also train and compete in dog agility, and help out at the local club, it's loads of fun, and the dogs absolutely love it!
