Ed Jack

Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS)

I started my working life as a research scientist following my degree in Pharmacology and a PhD in Physical biochemistry in 2003. It was later in life that I decided to follow the veterinary career path and I qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2011 from the Royal Veterinary college, in London.

For the last 12 years I have followed my passion for small animal and exotic pet work and developed a special interest in rabbits and their welfare. I  enjoy all aspects of veterinary work but I am particularly talented at ultrasounding small animals and I especially like scanning hearts.

I love all dogs and cats and I rescued my own little friendly Tortoiseshell cat called Amber nearly 2 years ago. She has of course taken over our home and become a bit demanding!

I live in the countryside with my wonderful wife Sam and our two energetic sons. I like to unwind with my bow and arrow so I was quite pleased to discover that there is an archery shop and range
next door to the practice.
