Phyllis Pratt

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002. During my career I have worked in a variety of roles from senior nurse, practice manager and owning my own practice. My interests are practice management, nurse clinics and animal behaviour which I am currently working towards extra qualifications.

My drive and  passion for animals started as a young girl by reading books such as James Herriot, which helped build my values and vision for providing care and compassion to our furry friends. I am thoroughly enjoying my role at Carnforth Pet Care working alongside an amazing team that share the same passion as myself.

In my spare time I enjoy family life with my partner and two children. I am also kept busy looking after my two cats called Haribo and Barbara plus two rabbits and four tortoises.
I look forward to meeting and welcoming all our clients and pets to our practice.
